This is a philosophy that I learned early as a student-athlete and have carried with me ever since. We all want to be able to play, run, compete, finish. If we are on the sidelines watching, then no one is having any fun. Therefore, understanding each person’s individual goals and guiding them accordingly is something I take into consideration with each and every person I have ever coached.
